HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language. It's the very foundational technology of the Web, used to create webpages. Without HTML, there would be no websites! Yes, that's right. More precisely HTML defines the content, structure, and meaning of a webpage (then other technologies work on top of it to produce the modern-day web experience).
In this mini course, I walk you through the core ideas in HTML. Most importantly, I skip two big chunks, namely forms and semantic HTML. And the reason is because both of them require other concepts to be known (for example, forms require profound knowledge of web servers) and so you're better off at covering those topics separately later on.
